Why "Corbin"?
The Corbin Cuff is based off of my Romanov bracelet. A friend and I were fiddling with chainmail patterns this summer, and he asked if I would teach him byzantine (and thus, Romanov). A few days after showing him how to complete it, I saw his finished product--a completely redesigned version of my Romanov bracelet, and one that was more substantial than dainty. I couldn't believe I hadn't thought of the idea! In exchange for allowing me to use this design in my Etsy shop, he had one request: "You have to name it after me."
And so these beautiful cuffs had a new name.
